Aalborg boiler solutions
Alfa Laval Aalborg dual-fuel boilers are more than an efficient solution for your steam and hot water needs. Able to handle both free flow and methane mixed with inert gas, they provide safe, effective ways to manage boil-off gas (BOG) and simplify operations connected with tank inspection.
PureCool
Today you can cut methane slip by up to 50% while reducing your LNG consumption. The Alfa Laval PureCool cascade exhaust gas cooling system is the heart of iCER technology, an option for next-generation WinGD X-DF engines. Besides reducing emissions, choosing iCER can increase your fuel efficiency by 3%.
Heat exchangers
Alfa Laval has robust solutions for use in gas fuel supply systems, which place high demands on thermal equipment. The high-pressure FCM LNG makes use of diffusion-bonded printed circuit heat exchanger (PCHE) technology, while Alfa Laval DuroShell can serve as a low-pressure LNG vaporizer.
Gas Combustion Unit
The Alfa Laval Gas Combustion Unit (GCU) is a reliable, simple solution for managing boil-off gas (BOG) on LNG carriers with dual-fuel or low-speed dual-fuel engines. Compact and economical to install, it safely disposes of gas that cannot be used by the vessel’s propulsion system.
Smit LNG inert gas system
The Alfa Laval Smit LNG system is a combustion-type inert gas generator, built on five decades of experience with inert gas supply. It produces inert gas with a low dew point, which meets the requirement for very dry and high-quality inert gas on LNG carriers.
